Procedure And Fees For JAMB 2017 Mock Exam

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that it will mount a mock examination in all the accredited CBT centres to prepare and familiarize interested Candidates with the CBT environment before the conduct of the 2017 UTME.

Interested candidates are advised to indicate their interest in the mock examination during the registration process. The CBT Centres are allowed to collect through their (CBT Centres) bank accounts, a separate Seven Hundred Naira (₦700) only, for this exercise after notification of centre has been received by the Candidate.

The payment for mock examination shall be made to the centres to which the candidate is assigned after the notification of assigned centres for the mock examination. No Association or body is permitted to run any mock examination on behalf of JAMB.

NOTE: Do Not pay for Mock until JAMB assigns you to a CBT centre. The mock examination shall take place on Saturday 8th April, 2017 .

Guidelines Help For JAMB 2017/18 New Regularization Procedures

PURPOSE

The purpose of regularization is to ensure that JAMB have your current admission detail that tally with admission/registration record in the school that offered you admission. It also allows candidates with admission but with no prior record with JAMB ability to register on the platform.

This year 2017 regularization payment/procedures is quite similar to last year process, the only difference is the payment mode.

After the new JAMB Registrar took over, a lot of changes has been made on the official JAMB Website, such as the design and the placement of the E-facility activities, Remember the use of scratch card has also been banned as payment online will serve as the new method.

WHO IS TO REGULARIZE

The following categories of students are particularly expected to regularize:

(a) 200–500Level students admitted through Pre-Degree program (PDS) without JAMB Information

 (b) 200–500Level students admitted through JAMB mode but found no admission information on the JAMB website

 (c) Students admitted through JAMB mode but with different admission information on JAMB website

 (d) Students admitted through PDS/JAMB mode but had been offered admission elsewhere i.e. tertiary institution

PROCEDURE/STEP ON HOW TO REGULARIZE YOUR JAMB REGISTRATION NUMBER FREE

Before candidates will be allowed with this procedure an account is required to be created on the portal

• If you wish to use other payment channels like ATM, Cash at the Bank and Quickteller,  please note the transaction ID as it will be required.

•  On the Interswitch Payment page, enter your card details and click on the Pay button.

•  The status of your payment will be displayed on the “My Payment Section” 

• An SMS and email containing your unique Transaction Identification and payment status will be sent to you after payment.

• Click on the Continue button.

• Once payment is completed, you will be asked to provide the following:

a. Year of Exam and
b. JAMB Registration Number

• After entering the information correctly, the application form will be displayed. 

• You are to fill the application form online. Please take note of mandatory fields.

•  Click Submit to complete your application 

• After submission, an Indemnity form will be displayed for printing.

• This is to be filled and taken to your institution for Approval.

• Your institution will be responsible for submission of the approved form to the JAMB state office. 

• Once received, the Approved form will be uploaded into your profile. You will receive a notification when this is done. 

• JAMB will now process your application. If Approved, your details will be changed as requested.

• After Your application is processed, Log in back to the portal and click on the link Check Admission Status.

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that its portal is ready for registration. Now let me teach you the first thing that is required of you which is how to create a JAMB profile on the JAMB Portal.

Here are the steps on how to create a JAMB profile before the registration proper.

Please note that this procedure and service is FREE! You don’t need to pay any money to get your JAMB profile.

 If you have already successfully created a profile on the official JAMB portal, you don’t need to create another profile.

How to create JAMB Profile

STEP 1:

1.1     Validate your email address on the JAMB portal. To do this, click here.

 1.2     Fill in your email in the first two spaces provided, then select a question and type a secret answer in the last 2 spaces. The secret question and answer will be required if you forget your password to your profile on the JAMB portal, so ensure you always remember your selected question and the corresponding answer you typed.

 1.3     Then click “Verify Email“. A link will be sent to your email.

 1.4     Open your email and find an email sent from “noreply@JAMB.gov.ng”. The email should be titled “eMail Address Confirmation”.

 1.5     Open the email and click the link that says “Click here to continue your Profile Creation”. If you are unable to click on the link, ensure the email is not in your SPAM/JUNK folder. If it is, move it into your inbox to access the link.

 1.6     PLEASE NOTE: There is also a UNIQUE CODE that was sent to you in that email. Ensure you do not delete that email or you can copy the unique code to someplace safe. You will be needing this code when you go to register at the CBT Centre.

STEP 2:

Once you click the link in step one, step 2 provides you with a form to fill in your personal information

2.1     Fill in all the information as provided by the form. Your surname, first name, middle name, date of birth (day, month & year), your phone number, nationality, state, LGA and Password to your profile.

2.2     Ensure you crosscheck all the above information, because if you don’t, it may cost you to change it in future.

2.3     Once you are sure of all the above information, click on “Sign Up”.

2.4     That’s all, your profile will be created immediately. You should see a message that says “Your Account Creation Was Successful.”
